Babies love texture. Come learn how to apply Texture Magic to this fun baby quilt. Texture Magic is a product that is stitched to the back side of fabric. When you apply steam, the fabric will shrink 30% in every direction.

Main fabrics for texturized blocks and border

4 fat quarters

Plain blocks and border (white)

Sashing, inner border and binding

Cutting Instructions:

From each of the 4 fat quarters

2 – 9 x 9 in. sq = 8

8 – 5 ½ x 3 ½ in. strips = 32

Note: If you prefer a more scrappy look, use more fabrics. You will need a total of 8 – 9 x 9 in. sq and 32 – 5 ½ x 3 ½ in. strips.

From the white fabric:

8 – 6 ½ x 6 ½ in. sq

4 – 5 ½ x 5 ½ in. sq

4 – 5 ½ x 3 ¾ in. strips

4 – 5 ½ x 3 ½ in. strips

The rest of the cutting can be done later.
