This quilt was especially designed for the fabrics in the kit! It is so pretty and easy to make. You will be doing some basic appliqué to make a flower in the center and simple piecing as well for backgrounds as the awesome borders and scalloped edge. It is a project for all skill levels! Come to this class and create a very special masterpiece!

Fabric Requirements: 
Fabric A: 1/4 yard for corners of outside border
Fabric B: 2/3 yard for border and quilt center
Fabric D: 1/4 yard for flower large center appliqué circle
Fabric E: 1/2 yard for border
Fabric G: 1/2 yard for appliqué background
Fabric O: 1-1/4 yard for scalloped edge of quilt and ovals for center appliqué
Fabric P: 1/4 yard for stem and leaves on center appliqué
Fabric Q: 1/3 yard for small (yellow) borders
Fabric R: 1/2 yard for checkerboard background
Fabric T: 1/2 yard for large scalloped flower appliqué and checkerboard background
You will need 56 squares in various colors cut 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" for the outside border. You can use a few colors or many (the kit has lots of colors).
Backing: 3-1/4 yards
Fusible web: 1/2 yard

Threads in colors to match appliqué pieces
Presser feet for 1/4" seams and appliqué
Small iron and board
 
Cutting Instructions:

It will be helpful if you can have the appliqué pieces ironed to the steam a seam and cut the small squares for the checkerboard background. All the instructions are included for cutting and you can cut more if they want.
