Half Day

This is a fun quilt for everyone. I saw it, fell in love with it and made 3 the first weekend. This would be great for a gift or even the center of a quilt. After you have finished with the quilt, then you can practice your machine quilting skills on it. Best of all if you come with your strip sets done, you can finish it in class and be ready for quilting.

Skill Level: All
Pattern Fee: $8
BSK

Supplies:

12 ½ square ruler

Fabric Requirements:

¼ yard of eight (8) different fabrics 44” wide

1 ¼ yards quilt backing

The fabric can be graduated in color light to dark or assorted but with a definite light and a definite dark. Use a variety. (I love to mix in stripes, polka dots and plaids).

Do not wash fabric or cut off selvage edge

Cutting Instructions: 5 strips 1 ½” x WOF (width of fabric) out of each piece (label in sewing order 1-8)

Sewing before class:

Sew #1 to #2, #3 to #4, #5 to #6, #7 to #8, then sew the sets together making 5 strip sets. You will have 5 strip sets going from #1 to #8

Press to the dark
These should measure 8 ½” if not check your seams.
