This stunning, simple quilt is made using all half-square triangle units! It can be made with two main colors, or make it scrappy using 10” squares from your stash, OR with today’s pre-cut “Layer Cakes” with a different print for each and every star point. Class will conclude with a lesson on precise mitered borders.

Fabric Requirements:

Focus Fabric (A): 3-1/4 yards (Inner star points, outer border)
**Contrasting Print (B): 1-3/8 yards (Inner star points)

OR

Make it scrappy! 36 DIFFERENT PRINTS cut into 10” squares, or 1 LAYER CAKE

plus Outer Border Fabric (A): 2 yards
Light/Background Fabric (C): 2 yards
Inner Border Print (D): 5/8 yard
Backing: 5-1/2 yards
Binding: 5/8 yard

**Contrasting print(s) may be a contrast of either COLOR or TONE (Example: A= Dark B= Medium).
