Quilter’s This large beautiful basket is wonderful to make and oh, so useful. It features a beautiful hand carved oak handle and cane weavers. You will get a LOT of experience weaving, and you will be taught how to shape the basket. This class will take 9 hours and will continue Saturday morning. Some weaving experience is very useful; however a beginner with good dexterity will have success with this project as well. You will have a completed project at the end of class period.
Kit fee: $55.00 includes all materials used in the basket. Class size is limited to 15. |

The One Yard Center The One Yard Center Quilt came about because I keep finding fabrics that had wonderful large prints and I just couldn’t cut them up. So I decided to design a pattern that I could use these in. This is a great size for a lap quilt, kids cuddle quilt, or to just have for display. This class is great for everyone from beginner to advanced. This is a fun quilt to make using large print fabric or panels that are one yard. Please come and join the fun in making this quilt. A Critter in I recently taught this class at the Utah Valley Guild meeting, and had nearly 60 women attend the class. I call it "A Critter in My Jelly Roll”. The class is actually a series of blocks made from our old favorite, with a new name; 2 1/2" strips, or the now famous, Jelly Rolls. From these seemingly little bits of fabric, we will make up the following "critters" ~ Snail's Trail, Spider Web, Flying Geese and Bear's Paw blocks. In addition, we'll add a unique and amazing little Pinwheel and the all-time favorite Pineapple. In just three hours, we'll be able to make up at least a sample of each of these blocks. Appliqué Borders: Learn to analyze a quilt for an appliqué border, as well as learn how simply an appliqué border can be drafted and/or adapted to your pieced or appliquéd quilt top. This class will take the mystery out of designing an appliqué border whose corners will all be the same, and the design elements will flow equally all around the quilt center. Students can bring their own quilt top for discussion and suggestions. |

We'll use quick and easy strip-quilting methods, so you can use jelly roll fabrics or cut your own strips.
