FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:
8 – fat eighths light fabric, stars & rails
8 – fat eighths dark fabric, stars & rails
1/8 yard for block centers
¾ yard for sashing between blocks
1/3 yard for inside border
1 ¼ yards for outside border and corner posts

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH BLOCK:

Stars: Make 4 per block

• Cut 1: 2 ½” square of dark print
• Cut 8: 1 ½” squares of dark print for points
• Cut 2: 4 ½” squares of light background fabric
• Cut 2: 6” squares of light background fabric

Rails:

• Cut: 3 strips of 1 ¼” x 18” of dark fabrics
• Cut: 2 strips of 1 ¼” x 18” of light fabrics
• Cut 1: 2 ½” center square
• Cut 1: 1 ¼” x 14” light print for centers
