FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:

Chick Bodies: 1/2 yard if you want your chicks all from the same fabric,

OR nine 9” squares of coordinating fabrics (prints/batiks/paisleys/polka-dots)

Combs: 1/8 yard red

Beaks/Feet: 1/8 yard gold or yellow

Background: 1 yard

To complete 56” lap quilt or wall hanging, you will also need:

Nine sets of buttons for eyes (1” + in diameter)

Sashing: 1/2 yard

Setting Triangles: 1-7/8 yard (large print fabric works best)

Binding: 1/3 yard

Backing: 3-1/2 yards
